Well my Deer will NEVER compare to what you guys got to hunt.
My lease is very overgrown Pines with terrible soil.
Anyways, after my 3rd All Day Sit, one of my target Bucks for this year decided to come visit on Sunday night.
Shot felt good and I had good then great blood for aways then it started blocking up.
I followed him as far as I could, then marked it and left him go overnight. 30* temps in North Florida I knew he’d be alright.
Just to be safe I called my Tracker Team and one of them came out to help with Three Blood Trained Tacking Dogs.
They found him about 70 yards past where I left off, but without them I doubt I would of found him.
I was 10-feet from him and my Tracker was 4-feet from him before we saw him. That’s how thick that Cypress Swamp he ran into is.
I thought from the cam pics he was a Funky 6, but my Grandson said he had 7 so 7-points it is.
It always amazes me how Big they cam look on Pics and in the woods, but when you lay hands on them they end up smaller.
Still the Biggest Florida Buck I’ve taken yet, so I’m Happy.
