I prefer October in Pennsylvania for deer hunting due to our beautiful weather, crisp, cold mornings and balmy, fresh afternoons, so most years I'm usually not hunting much in January anymore. However, PA has several different late seasons in different areas, and this year me and several friends have been filling some tags and supplying deer for some people asking for venison, and the last couple days have been productive. I've got another one here all cleaned up, that I just rolled outside in 25 degrees to cool down. Late season does have this one advantage of cold temperatures to hang meat.
