Watching a strip of brush separating a wall of pines from a wall of hardwoods. Must be thanksgiving, been hearing turkeys since daylight.

Congrats to Mollyann and dad as well...she is a die hard deer hunter sticking it out all day but it was worth it! If I recall this was not her first all day sit?Arrived at the stand at 5:50am. Cold 28 degrees. We planned on an all day hunt and that was what it took for Mollyann to score. We both took a few naps while the other one watched. Buck came out at 5pm and she made the perfect shot.

Sad to say but I'm afraid the mysterious bow noise was my heart breaking. My lower limb on my 7 year old Destroyer 350 finally decided to de-laminate. Bowtech doesn't make anymore replacements. I will have to look into the Barnsdale limbs or a new bow. My bad luck streak doesn't stop. If I would of known my bow was about to grenade I would of been good this year and asked Santa for a new bow. But I've been on the naughty list for 7 years since I bought my last bow.

I've had ZERO issues with my Destroyer and I've used the snot out of it over the years. It still has it's original string on it. But unfortunately when they came out with that technology the longevity research just wasn't there with the carbon limbs. I'm a huge fan but having a friend who owns a bow shop has allowed me to shoot a bunch of bows over the years. I really like the fit and finish along with the 90% let off of the new PSE. Either way I'm lost without my bow and refuse to pick up a gun. But on the bright side my 8 year old shot his 7mm-08 for the first time today and he was excited. I'll be more than happy to put the bow down for the rest of my life to be able to take my kids hunting. This was his first shot at 50 yards. And for those who is wondering these are custom targets made by my son. Keeping it fun. Hoping to have a "Live From the Stand" post soon with my son at the helm.I know there are a lot of Bowtech fans these days, but I've heard a lot of horror stories lately. Buddy went to draw on the biggest buck of his life a couple weeks ago, pin through the cam let go and everything came apart. Bloodied his lip and cut his nose, blacked his eye. Bowtech offered little support or relief. Maybe all archery companies are that way, I don't know, my Mathews haven't blown up in my face yet.
Yes, last year she shot her buck late afternoon on an all day sit.Congrats to Mollyann and dad as well...she is a die hard deer hunter sticking it out all day but it was worth it! If I recall this was not her first all day sit?
Dressed out at 125#. Weights are down. Very dry late spring and early summer put native browse to a minimum. Zero acorns this year and even persimmons are down a good 75%. I'm not in Ag land so everything is native browse and my 5 acres of plots.Congratulations to each of you;it takes a lot of staying drive to sit all day. That is a beautiful deer. How many pounds will that deer dress out at about?
