Looking back I wish I didn't but I did. Like Okie it was calamity of errors but left me with a lot further drag out of the woods. Upon release of my arrow my bow made a noise it never has made before. Which let the doe jump the string and duck leaving the arrow stuck in her neck exiting the field. No crash...."Well crap" I thought to myself. Called my buddy with one of the best dogs in the South. While waiting I packed up my stuff and set back. About 15 minutes after the shot 3 more does came in the plot and began to feed almost exactly where I shot the first one. They fed for a few minutes then bolted. "What in the world"? Thought they caught her hoof scent and ran. Went back to scrolling the forums. Looked up and there stands 2 shooters 50 yards in front of me with about 2 minutes of legal light left. I couldn't do a thing. Tried unzipping my bag to get my release out and knock an arrow but they knew something was up. Ended up turning and leaving.Should I?

Sad to say but I'm afraid the mysterious bow noise was my heart breaking. My lower limb on my 7 year old Destroyer 350 finally decided to de-laminate. Bowtech doesn't make anymore replacements. I will have to look into the Barnsdale limbs or a new bow. My bad luck streak doesn't stop. If I would of known my bow was about to grenade I would of been good this year and asked Santa for a new bow. But I've been on the naughty list for 7 years since I bought my last bow.Not so bad Pinesapjunky!! I was waiting for the part that alligators chased you out of the lake or a giant pike or catfish thought you were food or something. Seriously though, Congratulations on following thru after a bad break. It was probably a good thing the landowner didn't let you use his boat or drive thru his pasture; we can only guess what else could have happened. So what was the mysterious bow noise that was the catalyst for this great adventure? Did one of the limbs hit the stand or something?
I checked with my wife and she confirmed that of all the sewing activities, needlepoint is probably the safest.
If you bought it new, Bow Tech should do something about it, like replace it. If you bought it used, well..... SOL.Sad to say but I'm afraid the mysterious bow noise was my heart breaking. Brand spanking new. I've talked with a rep last year about finding new limbs when I started reading reports of having the same problem. They will give a discount on a new bow. That's about it.If you bought it new, Bow Tech should do something about it, like replace it. If you bought it used, well..... SOL.
