Congratulations on the big old and very unique buck!Tonight was a fun hunt. It was one of those days where you just knew deer were going to move. I loaded up my hunting supplies into my truck before work so that I could leave right at 4:30.
Made it to the stand by 5:40 and had 3 young bucks out in front of me by 6. Around 6:30 I saw a doe that was acting squirrelly. I soon heard the sound of antlers crashing together in the woods but couldn’t see the fighting bucks. A minute after the fighting stopped this guy stepped out for a second before disappearing back into the woods. A couple of grunts from my grunt tube had him running back out with his ears back - he was looking to continue the fight. When he turned broadside, I shot and watched him run off straight away from me. He only ran about 50 yards.
Rack is very cool and his body was huge. The processors scale was broken but there’s no doubt he weighed over 200 lbs.

You know how I know it’s muzzleloader season in Oklahoma? It has rained solid for 24 hours at this point and isn’t supposed to stop raining for another 20 hours and the wind is 16-50 mph and that’s not supposed to stop till after midnight on Friday...
The next week is looking pretty amazing, I can’t remember a time when the first week of November looked this promising weather wise.Still raining...I want to go out this am in the wind if the rain will just stop...
