"Whitetail Hollow" - 90 Acres NE Oklahoma.

Home 10 looks tough. Amazing how hit and miss these storms were. No more decent chances till next weekend. Our plots are a little behind with the dry weather but hopefully this last rain will get your 80 and my place up and running.

It's a really weird year. Home 10 is now about 10" of rain for the year behind "Whitetail Hollow" also known as N80 and our Deer lease. and it sits right smack dab between them in a N-S fashion... Weather is showing really hot with heat indexes over 100 with no chances of rain until next weekend :(

I've got another 6 acres seeded, counting on some rain this weekend. It has to rain at some point, until then a gobbler is enjoying the seed on the surface.

You would think it would have to rain wouldn't you... Crows and turkeys are loving the free seed over here...

I just watched the noon weather on our NBC affiliate and here is the forecast for Tahlequah this weekend. You have a 90% chance of rain on Sunday. That's higher than my chances. Screenshot_2016-09-20-12-31-58.png

That's the exact same thing that Weather.com shows but our local weather station said 20% late Saturday and 30% sunday... I like the forecast you have much better!

Plots sneaking along pretty decent considering the weather for you . Hope the precip comes. If you choose to keep showing copperheads tho, I will be forced to boycott you thread. Interesting comment on the hingecut, the ones I think the deer will love, are ignored and others I don't think much of, they love. They are really unapprecatiable animals.

I hear you dogg on deer being unappreciative...sometimes you can do everything in the world for them and they still hang out over in the weeds on your neighbors place...

I have them using our place for food but the bedding is much too good across the fence...

Whatever the food/bedding situation is, I would say you have it figured out. You've shot great deer and always have great "in season" pics. I bet your neighbors would be jealous if they knew how good you've made your place.
Forecast shows the front hitting us on Saturday and staying in the 70's the rest of the week. I'll be glad to get out of these 90's that we've had this week.

I am hoping it cools down before Oct 1. If it is still pretending to be summer then I probably won't be out long.

Over here our weather guy is not as optimistic...

I just took this photo of the tv screen and they said "maybe a few showers, keep a light jacket handy but definitely not a washout for those outdoor activities"

I know we have had a lot better chances and gotten zip :(

Plots look horrible (no offense meant by that) and the dogs would piss me off! Stay strong, hopefully the weather will turn around soon.
