.410 shotgun is actually .45 case diameter, but fortunately in this instance the sling maker made them a little snug for .410 shells.

I will probably use the cartridge loops to hold empties as I will have seven loads in the carbine and some more in my pack. I have a butt cuff on my .280 and that's what i use the loops for, keeps them from being lost.
