Walked by at 10 yards...

Sitting here in work boots, a t shirt and some old army camo pants in all my perfumed deodorant and shampoo splendor...now where is that pig?

Sounds like a blast. Good job on the yote. Any chance it's the one that had pups near your home? Or one of the pups?

It was a female pup. Might be one of the ones raised here. Only about 400 yards from the house... One less fawn killer!

While I was sitting in my stand this evening I got to looking around at the white oaks around me... Last year I think every oak tree on our place had bumper crops along with all the oaks on all the surrounding properties. Hunting was tough last fall but this year the acorns are spotty. Should make patterning deer much easier this fall...

We had some red oaks produce and almost no white oaks last yr. We seem to be flip-flopped as its looking like we will have a great crop of whites this yr.
