Before I went to my friend's ranch, I checked out my food plot of radishes, turnips and chicory. Water pooling from last night's rain. I have planted radishes and turnips off and on for a number of years and the whitetail have never paid much attention to them. Chicory, on the other hand, once they find it, they will eat it into the ground. This mix did not have any Delar small burnet in it, but that is another plant that these deer out here on the prairie will hit hard. I have heard it can take awhile for the deer to get used to the brassicas, so I try to plant some, hoping.
