My experience with Exodus has been very disappointing as well. The 2018 Lift II was purchased directly from the in early March and quit working in early July. I contacted customer service by texting the Help message to their number as directed and received a call just minutes later. The would furnish a pre-paid label for me to print which I did and took it to our local post office the same day to minimize the down time as much as possible.
I was told the camera would be repaired or replaced and to expect it within 7-10 days. It is now going on four weeks and most of my inquiries have fallen on deaf ears. The last successful attempt in communicating with them was Thursday and at that time I was told a firm eta would be furnished within 48 hours, but their best guess in the meantime was another 7-10 days.
Well that hasn't happened, not that I expected it would. For a company that brags a 5 year warranty, 50% off retail for another camera if your camera is ever stolen, I expected much better service than has been received, and I can without hesitation recommend dealing with Browning or Stealthcam who's cameras I also own, or almost anyone other than Exodus.
