I got the antlers back from the taxidermist. 127” gross. Very happy with him.

Clover starting to show

Popped the top on the cultipacker I bought last fall. Can’t wait to put this to use in a couple weeks.

Just curious, is the extra window screen for deep snow as the tree grows? With you trim the lower limbs and then staple it together higher?

Yea, I’ll clean up the screen in the future. Just wanted to get something on them last fall before winter set in. Eventually the lower limbs will get removed and the whole screen will be in place. These are all crabs and I’m trying to do as little maintenance as possible with them but I don’t want them to get girdled either.

Put some oats/clover in this last weekend. Got to try out my new Cultipacker. Worked great.

Pumpkins with crimson clover strip along the north edge of plot. WR/clover fall planted on left.

More WR/clover. Definitely had crimson survive the winter. Will be using more of that in future plantings as the price is good.

Fall plots are almost all in and growing. Still have the cereal grain part of the LC mix to put in. Probably Labor Day.

These are brassicas with some clover.
