Those are some damn nice critters. That would keep me patient on stand!

Those are some good bucks. How'd the opener go for you guys? Our PA statewide archery opener is tomorrow and my buddies are pumped.
The right wind is the most important part.I saw 3 of the nice ones opening night. One got to about 35 yards. Didn’t want to fling one as it was a warm night. My dad saw nice ones Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday the first week. Waiting to get back out there again now. It’s warm and the wind isn’t right for the field plot (best spot by far right now). Maybe Sunday night.
Yup I try not to push it with the wind, especially early like this. I put up another stand today where I had 3 daylight bucks in our field plot in the NW corner this past week. I wanted to sit Sunday night but the NE wind turned into NW so I will likely not sit there. Still showing NE for Tuesday. Hoping to sneak out then. Still way too warm. The right wind is the most important part.
Good luck. It sounds like its just a matter of time till you have a big one down.
Those look outstanding. What I wouldn't give to have about ten tons of those guys on my land...Garden pumpkins
Hilltop pumpkins

The one year I had a good crop, they waited until early november to start on them. Not pictured are the 40 or so in the field plot below the barn. I'll be planting more next year. Just waiting to see when they start to hit them.
