I have a guy here that does it cheap enough I won't use the time.He said he would prefer that the skin be left on as the steam takes off the meat better and then uses pressure washer

Yep, we do this instead of boiling in peroxide. It is much easier to control imo, so you don't have to worry about possibly having to stain the antler bases later.

I always used a peroxide paste after cleaning. Didn't know toothpaste would work. Great tidbit to have in the noggin! Thanks.

I use basic white and 40% peroxide mixed in a paste. You wouldn't want to do it indoors on the counter top! First time I bought it at the beauty supply store the lady had a lot of questions for the skinny bald guy!

This blue haired lady asked me a lot of questions to make sure she was getting me the right product. As you can imagine she was quite shocked to learn I was using it to whiten a rotten bison skull I found...

We finally got a front view of the snow sled buck. I didn’t realize he had a frame quite like this. If he can add a tine or two and take a jump, he could be pretty interesting next year.
