They do the same at my place. Gave up on planting them some time ago. They love the radish tops though.I quit planting purple top turnips and switch to radishes because our deer didn't seem to care much for turnips, they would take a bite out of a few and most would rot. Let us know how your deer clean these up.
Don’t know how I missed this a few days ago. Thanks!!I’ve planted my last brassicas I think. The deer annihilate them as they sprout. Used to be my fav plot. Keep up the good work thru your Sahara like conditions!

Did you score this buck?
Not yet. We have a local contest every year and he’s entered in it. I’m guessing it will go in the mid 50s.Did you score this buck?
Looks good, got the horns taped off with something that looks like foil? I know people use bubble wrap etc. Wood stain works well to recolor if you bleach off any color. Finally getting around to making some deer head stew.
My father-in-law wanted the cape, so it took a while to get the head back.

There’s plastic wrap under the foil. Dawna has it down to a science, I just assist.Looks good, got the horns taped off with something that looks like foil? I know people use bubble wrap etc. Wood stain works well to recolor if you bleach off any color.
