First look, I ran into a height limit.

I just got to looking at dead trees in the cabin ditch,

a nice dead red maple woods, when the emergency red lights started flashing. I hit the home return button and nothing happened.

I flew it back in. I was smart enough to wonder about the power supply in the controller but not smart enough to charge it up as I did the flight batteries.

Did you have to override the safety? Mine has a limit of 400' above surface. Something to do with the FAA I believe. I can go higher, but I have to override and acknowledge it. Beautiful views you have. I think next time it is calm I will take mine up and get similar shots. Be neat to compare the views. 😂

I think that I may have acknowledged the warning and thanks. On any given day I have as much traffic in the sky go by as I do traffic on the ground, zero. Thanks for turning me on to this thing.
