Crazy!!! I was quoted $62/50 for elbon and $37 for abruzzi. Saw where Hancock was out of stock. I'm traveling now but will re quote next week before placing order. Wheat was $9.50/50 and while I prefer rye... not that much
Woodville, MS coop is about $20/50.
It all started with one crazy cat talking about it. Now it's sweeping the country.Got the last of the prep work done for fall planting today. I’ll be picking up awnless winter wheat to go with wr and our other regulars next week and begin planting on the 14th, can’t wait!! So glad I found this site and was told about the advantages of adding ww to our mix.
Well looky there, a bag of awnless wheat just waiting for some rain in the forecast. You know... not very many grown men listen to cats.It all started with one crazy cat talking about it. Now it's sweeping the country.

I got your pic but can't post it (I tried). Ill try again but I'm not working well with tapatalk right now. Awesome buck by the way, Congrats! Our rye/radish/oats/clover plots have always been a success; but after taking your advice and knocking back the lb/acre of rye and adding an awnless wheat, the results have been nothing short of amazing! Every one of our plots spread out over 5 different properties (we only own one, but have a lot of good friends that let us hunt) have been absolute magnets this year. For example, we have one big plot that is 1 3/4 acres, 2/3 of it is clover from last year’s planting and 1/3 is the new mix with wheat added. The most deer I’ve ever seen in the plot in years past has been 9, this year we are regularly seeing 16 deer on the plot in the evenings, along with 3 mature bucks lately running the does; unfortunately I haven’t caught up with one of them yet. Dawna, the Mrs, on the other hand shot a buck we’ve been chasing 3 years in another new mix plot. To say we’re impressed is an understatement! I’ll see if I can get Catscratch to add Dawna’s buck to this thread. It would be a good testimony!
There it is! Thanks for posting Buckdeer.
