So principal gave it his approval, now waiting on county office to approve removing trees. Time to start thinking about what to replace them with!

Sawtooth oaks would be good...fast growth, good shade, keep leaves attached through the winter, great for wildlife....

another member donated some gobbler sawtooth acorns, we may use those and some of my chestnut oaks to get started.
