Take a shed with you and throw it around. I find a lot of my sheds while looking for the one I threw. It also slows me down some.Curious from everyone, What are your best shed hunting tips going into this season?
Theres your shooter buck, that's one that should be around for next year. Have you named this particular deer yet?Found a big one today! This is from the biggest buck on the property. He shed 2-3 weeks ago, and I’ve been searching since then. Found it 30-40 yards off a food plot sitting in some pine straw. He shed the left side a few days later, but I think he lost it around his bedding area not a food source.

Go on wet and cloudy days. I seem to see them better when it's not bright and sunny. I think shadows throw me off.
That's some good antler finding tips that I need to keep in mind for the next time.I look at antlers all the time in different settings and weather. Teaches your eye to find them. Amazing how many I see before my brain has time to realize what I’m looking at.
You're really picking me up. What's your method of finding them?We have been finding some great sheds lately.
This is the 2nd biggest matched set I've ever found. Should be a certified giant next season.
These bases are not quite 8" but this is a toad of an 8pt.
