……..but hunting related. I run cell cameras on protein feeders, food plots, and a hog trap. All my feeders are penned with hog panels to keep the nasty buzzards from destroying them. While checking my pics Saturday morning I saw two newly born fawns in one of my pens. As I was about to refill it anyway, the wife and I took the CanAm over to see what we could do. Mama was in the pen with them as we turned the corner but hopped out and drifted off into the brush. We opened the gate, backed up to the feeder, and I climbed into the buggy to pour the pellets in. One of the fawns never even twitched, but the other one raised its head and studied us as I filled the feeder. They were 18/20 feet away the whole time. We concluded our business and left the gate open as we left. When the next pics uploaded, they were gone. I figure mama never went far, and was a little way out in the brush the whole time. I thought about them early this morning as a storm rolled in and dumped over three inches of cold rain on us in about as many hours. It’s tough on little critters out in the wilds !
I’m not sure if this was her, but she’s a likely candidate !
