Worst day of my life, I had to put my Lab down

I finally got a dog for me as a present 4 years ago,a yellow lab.Just like you say they are demon children.Tyne could chew a garden hose in half while my wife was taping some holes up enough to use it.She is kind of trained for sheds and loves retrieving them,so much that I throw for an hour a night.Wouldn't trade anything for her.my buddies say when they die they want to come back as my lab.I take her for a doughnut every sat and sun also.Would be nice if they didn't shed.thank goodness for the shed combs
The hands down worst day of my life was when I put my golden retriever down. The bond between a dog and owner is very real. The amount of love dogs show us regardless of how mad at them we are or were, is amazing. They love unconditionally. People could learn a lot from dogs. Keep your head up and time will ease your pain. Hold on to those good memories. I'm now at a place where I can think of my golden and smile and not get sad or cry.
Glad to see you found this forum. It's a great place to be.
Wow, that was one heart wrenching video. Hunter has been gone for several years now and it still hurts.
