Update on Sarge the Wonder Dog

Took Sarge back today for another visit, Dr. said he was doing fine. Gotta take him back next Friday, if everything is still good, probably be a two week visit, then a month. Hoping we get through this with no problems this time !

Ok guys, the bad news is, the dang lens popped out in a different place. I think I know when it happened because he was trying his best to paw his eye but the cone prevented that of course. I had already made up my mind that if it happened again we were just gonna remove it and let him be farsighted in that eye. His nose is his strongest point anyway ! The Dr. concurred with this. His other one is perfect. So back to Dallas next Tuesday for another round of surgery, pills, eye drops and traffic. This is killing me !

Update on Sarge. Dr. took the lens out today and Sarge ain’t feeling to well, but he’ll be ok tomorrow hopefully. I fervently hope that we have no more unforeseen incidents. I’ve been to Dallas more in the last three months than I have in my entire life it seems, and I’m certainly sure Sarge has a belly full of these eye problems. Wish us luck !
