Injured doe

I'm hunting in Arkansas at the moment and this morning I saw a doe with 2 fawns. The doe was clearly injured in one of her back legs to the point she struggled to walk. What are some of your opinions on this? First why does she still have fawns with her and second would you kill her since she struggles to walk?

I have shot several deer that had healed over broken legs. Unless there's a grievous injury I wouldn't shoot it just because it has a limp.

Did she look to be in good body condition otherwise? How about the fawns?

I have a 3 legged doe on the property that I've been watching for 4+ years now. She seems perfectly happy.

The fawns were fine they just walked slowly behind her. I only saw her from a distance and couldn't get a good look

I had a 3 legged buck roaming our area for 4 or 5 years. He was a tough old bugger, coyotes finally were the end to him.
