Looks like the old man has just as much energy! He could probably rent out the entire crew!

Lol. It's "different" when a shovel is involved. Energy levels seem to go down some but they get their share in.

Speaking of which, here is pumpkin that the kids grew from seed collected from a store bought pumpkin last yr. We had an neighbor (old guy) who talked about how wasteful society was and how nobody would ever be able to save back seed or grow their own food if needed. I learned a lot from him!
That single pumpkin from last yr has produced 9 full sized fruit this yr and it's still putting more on. The kids learned something, saved money, and are proud of what they grew.

Finally got a finish coat of paint in the basement. The bullnose turned out "ok" but I see a lot of mistakes in it. The wife says I'm crazy as she doesn't find them... it still bugs me.

I really like the looks of that bullnose around the windows. I did all the windows in my place regular corners, but I think I like the way you did it better.

I really enjoy your thread. Makes me wish I could get back out to Kansas this year seeing how great your place is.

Drywall is one of those things that can drive a guy batty! Especially if your the one doing it and tend to be a perfectionist. Your windows look good.

I'm already batty, drywall made it worse! Thanks for the compliments. I do like the bullnose look and it really is pretty easy.

The kids had a great hunt this morning. 39 birds in 30 minutes. Little guy got his first solo shotgun kill and the older one shot great with multiple doubles. Both kids ran out of shells and loved every minute of it.

Hard to beat a good dove hunt. Even harder to beat a shisk ka bob that includes bacon wrapped dove breast.

Sawtooths that we planted many yrs ago producing a bumper crop this fall. We have some that will drop early and some late.
