Very interesting to read about your TSI. The MDC forester recommended that we do TSI on essentially all of our timber to release the favorable trees for more rapid growth. We are about to get the ball rolling on that, so your story is a nice preview for us. Sounds like we should plan a burn unit so there is variety in the understory.
