Your gonna like MRC. It’s way underrated for deer forage. Suggest frost seeding some too for thin spots.

You will like the medium red. There must be an echo in here. Ha Ha.
Have spring seeded in February in northern Ms after bushogging standing Sudan sorghum. Used 3 lb of MR and 3 lb tillage radish. Would use 5 lb if done again....non coated seed. Fall seeded will get you a better stand but overseeding thin spots works.

If you were using medium red and crimson clover with small grains how many pounds of each clover per acre?

I’m planning to add both MRC and CC to a mix of oats, WW, WR, DER, PTT and DR.

If you were just using either oats, rye or wheat, I’d do 50# of one and then maybe 5-7- MRC and 3-4 CC.

I planted a 3/4 acre plot last week with about 60 lb. of wheat and about 12 lb. of CC. We had a couple inches of rain, according to the AHPS presip map, and I'm gonna look at it Sunday. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised !
