acorns and drought

Do acorns recover from drought quickly?

There was no rain here for 4 weeks and we are getting 2 inches by the end of the week. So assuming normal rain thereafter will acorns, and apples, recover by drop time?

They should...you described a normal summer here and I have noticed most of the time if I can see acorns in the trees in July then we are good to go for the fall!

It's been a very dry summer here and I'm amazed at the size and number of acorns on my red oaks.
