Ground venison spaghetti for lunch today.

Gotta burn through all this ground venison. Browned in butter with some diced onions and bell pepper then dumped a can of blue runner New Orleans style red beans on top. Served over rice…wasn’t that bad but definitely could have used some smokiness like you get from sausage or tasso.

Getting away from deer today. It’s pork country style ribs seasoned with Tajin and covered with onions, yellow bell pepper and jalapeños. Going into a 300 degree oven for 3 hours.

Father’s Day dinner consisted of innerloins from last years deer with potatoes all smothered in mushroom gravy. Feast fit for a king.

No venison here, but beyond that shortcoming the Royal burger at Red Robin is hard to beat. Nothing quite like a peach milkshake and a burger with a runny egg on top.

I miss Red Robin, we had one in Baton Rouge for a few years then it was gone.

I miss Red Robin, we had one in Baton Rouge for a few years then it was gone.

I am forced to eat 100% gluten free because even a little doesn't agree with me. Red Robin offers a great tasting gluten free bun with their burgers, so it's one of the few chain restaurants where I can eat a good burger. Too top that off, they are a burger specialty place that makes one of the best burgers anywhere.
