Gotta burn through all this ground venison. Browned in butter with some diced onions and bell pepper then dumped a can of blue runner New Orleans style red beans on top. Served over rice…wasn’t that bad but definitely could have used some smokiness like you get from sausage or tasso. IMG_4435.jpeg
 
Getting away from deer today. It’s pork country style ribs seasoned with Tajin and covered with onions, yellow bell pepper and jalapeños. Going into a 300 degree oven for 3 hours. IMG_4443.jpeg
 
I miss Red Robin, we had one in Baton Rouge for a few years then it was gone.
I am forced to eat 100% gluten free because even a little doesn't agree with me. Red Robin offers a great tasting gluten free bun with their burgers, so it's one of the few chain restaurants where I can eat a good burger. Too top that off, they are a burger specialty place that makes one of the best burgers anywhere.
