As I've told others on here, continue to show snakes and I will unfriend you. We have the rattler and copperhead, but luckily my rat snakes and hawks seem to keep them at bay, as do the cattle. But I keep a close eye for them, pretty tolerant of all animals but poinous snakes push my limit.Killed the fourth rattlesnake sat, he was sunning on the dirt road. Biggest so far.

ML may be good.20's coming this weekend I understand...tough call on Oklahoma planting. If you plant late enough for good rains, frost is right around the corner...
ML dates, weather, and moon phases look to be perfect...I have all 9 days off...lol
More picsPast due for some updates. Early last year my mother's health started quickly declining, hospitalized several times and in a skilled nursing facility a couple times. Dr's decided there was nothing more they could do for her and she was sent home to my sisters for hospice care. She passed 2/20 at 84. Hadn't felt like or had a chance to get any work done for a bit.
Work slowed down some so we've been using some of our crew at the ranch. Finally got some work done on our east entry, the dirt road up the hill was already established when we bought the place but didn't have a bar ditch or tin horns so it washed & rutted out with every substantial rain. We cut a bar ditch and placed 4 tin horns, graded and spread several hundred cubic yards of asphalt millings. Should keep it in good shape for a long while.

Thanks dogg, pm me and I'll work out a crew deal, I just want to be fair and equitable... or at least equitable); You've been busy. Sorry of you mom. Road looks awesome, can I borrow your crew for a wk? I need do same for a perimeter road but also plan to clear everything 10 yds to either side of road to help keep it dry, plus some easy browse for deer. Plots really greening up. We have winter storm coming in so probably not much farm work for me till next weekend.
