Good grief, I was in the Middle East for many years and it rained more there this time of year! That said, it's dry and rocky here and drier and rockier on your place. I hope we both get the rain needed for Fall plots. Just North of me there has been plenty of rain!Your still doing better than we are...when you think it is bad just realize it could be worse! I thanked god for the .29 we got yesterday...
Yikes. Not good. Dry here tooThis morning the weatherman said this was the 6th driest September on record. For the month there was .5 of an inch!
You still whooped my butt on rainfall... .29 was all we could muster from 8/17/17 through today...This morning the weatherman said this was the 6th driest September on record. For the month there was .5 of an inch!
Beat you by 2/10ths, but this is not normal! This is historic! I had a dream that there was a type of cactus I should be planting for deer to browse, and if this keeps up that dream will be a reality! You still whooped my butt on rainfall... .29 was all we could muster from 8/17/17 through today...
This is just what happens without rain. Even springs stop running.Any reasons why it is drier? Any ponds built up stream.
That is so frustrating. Happens to us a lot I feel. I hope that with this pattern of weather, you will get something...Watch the storm part and miss The Brushpile. For the month there has been 1/20th of an inch.

The air is too dry for rain to fall, so storms move around this location like a doughnut hole. I'm thankful for the .25, it stopped dying and might help food plots return. The weatherman said that if all the moisture in an air column over this location was compressed, there would less than an inch of water.I sure thought you got more than a quarter inch. Been blessed the last couple weeks. Last week I got 2" and today 3". Hope more rain finds the brushpile
