I have $1 that you can shoot that coyote and a deer will still show up shortly after. We’ve shot coyotes and deer and had other deer come out of the woods within a few minutes.

All looking good G! I did a round of hack n squirt in Feb 2020. I"m amazed at how many of those trees are now on the ground. Assumed they would stand as snags much longer than they did. I like it cause I don't have stump sprouts to deal with down the road. Kills em dead!

I will swap you two more coyotes, a possum and as many rabbits as you can catch for the 10 point. I must be honest, however, and tell you that one of the coyotes is broken down in the hind end - may need a new transmission.

I'm hunting but not seeing, 2 evenings ago,



this morning.





I have 3 10 pointers hanging close.

I've been trying to find a deer. My doe group started out and got a whiff of me and went back down. The wind was out of the west but on stand it was steady east. I got a picture of one of the 8 pointers watching me get down from the top of the ridge.



I was down in my flat gap for a morning and an evening. I had deer below me in the ditch that raised hell when I was leaving back up the hill. Not much activity on that camera.



The target 10 stands vigil every night.



I recently put corn and camera back on the Kill Zone. I do like this 10.





This guy hung around last summer and September but after this picture he was gone never to be seen again.



Fast forward a year and he looks to have returned with junk on his bases and a tiny drop tine. Bucks tend to start throwing junk between ages 4 1/2 to 5 1/2.

Thanks, things are getting interesting.

This evening the Kill Zone could have been the kill zone.









Hunting was on rain delay yesterday evening and look who shows about the same time that the does showed this evening.

I now believe the big 9pt





to be this 8pt from last year. He has a peculiar bulge on the right side of his gut. I have seen this bulge on other big bucks but on this guy it seems to be more pronounced.







This was the last picture that I got of him. My neighbor took an uphill pot shot at him hours later up towards our property line the last day or two of late mz season. My neighbor doesn't miss but there was no indication of a hit and I walked the hills looking after the season.

I got into the Amphitheater of Hunting stand last evening. At 5 pm a big girl was out feeding in the little food plot that I put in up on the ridge top.



Then the Target 10 showed up dogging the big girls daughter. Around and around they went in the thick staging area.







He snort wheezed and I then snort wheezed back at him and he moved to the east where I had an unobstructed view between trees.



After the shot Momma came back over the ridge to find a dead buck and in time to watch me shoot her daughter.









This is the morning after picture that I envisioned in my mind when I bought Stone Branch.
