Looks great,I would be careful planting trees that close to under electric line, looks as though you might be in R/W.Also there are some new rules as far as how close trees can be to electric lines

Thanks, The photo showing the tilled ground under the power lines is where the miscanthus X giganteus grass was planted. It only gets to be about 12 - 15 feet tall.

Made it up to camp over Columbus Weekend. The food plot we planted took really well so I was impressed with my first attempt at a food plot.

We mixed whitetail institute bowstand and some ladino clover and winter rye.

My MG is also doing well despite my poor weed control. I don't mind the weeds when they are this tall because I am just trying to create a screen from the road.

Some of the stalks are about 6 feet. This is the second year and I have at least 4 stalks with each rhizome.

Also the 150 Norway seedlings and 50 Yugoslavian Spruce that we planted all took really well and put on a few inches their first year in the ground. Really happy about that.

Food plot looks great. I know that was a good sit. And those trees will be above your head before you know it.

Place looks great. Really like the mountains. Not sure your deer numbers but if I were you I'd use metal window screen stapled and cap the leader of your Northerns. I know they say deer don't browse them but mine never read the memo and destroyed 100 of them late winter for me one year. As long as you protect the leader the pine can survive pretty heavy abuse of browse or rub. Good luck.
