Don't forget me from last year 144.I should have Allegheny Chinquapin in a few weeks, provided I can beat the critters to them.

I’d also be interested in a few! Like I’ve said before have some chestnut oaks, white oaks, pin oaks and some black oaks.I should have Allegheny Chinquapin in a few weeks, provided I can beat the critters to them.

Are yours falling or did you pick them off the tree? Mine seem to be still holding on pretty tight.

Picked off the tree. They were just starting to turn on some acorns. Had to pick them then as they are 2.5 hours from my house.

Some of my earlier dropping Dunstans have started opening up the last few days. So far the deernand squirrels are keeping up with everything that has hit the ground. Big nuts this year. If anybody wants any let me know. I have had near perfect success with direct seeding these.

@mattpatt I just picked up some rootmaker grown Chestnut trees this morning in Chandler, OK. Guy is advertising on FB marketplace and has his own nursery called "An Oklahoma Chestnut." Might be worth your while.
