My 2016 Deer Season in 60 seconds

Thought you guys might in joy this video I put together of my season this year, some of you may remember at the first of the season I ask if anyone videoed there hunts and if they had any tips, I got some good advice and one thing I remember someone saying was "there will be missed opportunities" and Yes I did miss an opportunity on the biggest deer I've ever seen, trying to get the camera on him and everything, self filming is very challenging, and I LOVED it, even though I didn't get a deer, I was able to get some pretty cool footage. Any way here's my season in "60 seconds" if you have a minute check it out, if not no big deal. And Thanks everyone on this forum that shares advice! I've learned a lot from it and looking forward to learning a lot more!

Congrats on some great footage. You seem to be dedicated and I believe it will pay off with a giant on film eventually for you. I wish I had the patients for self filming but I am not made for it. Good luck honing your craft!

For editing i use iMovie, and I use a GoPro camera for second angle shots, and a JVC camcorder for my main camera. It's not the best but does the job for now.

Nice job! I have a camera and all the gear to film but only used it turkey hunting last year.

I took it twice during deer season but never took it out of my pack. The goal is to get it setup during every hunt this year.

Again, nice job! You have to be dedicated to it to self film.

Yeah he's still out there for someone, but unfortunately I don't have that lease anymore. But hopefully I'll be able to find another big buck to go after!

There were times that I thought about just leaving it in my pack, but then I would think this may be the time I get one. It's pretty cool to look back at all the footage after the season is over!
