A bit of bad luck, but lucky there was no damage. I have a skidder trail that I hunt, it’s basically a lane 20’/25’ wide and 125 yards long. I have a directional feeder at the end of it on one side and a cell camera on the other. We had some killer winds here Tuesday afternoon and this pine tree couldn’t take it. Luckily, it fell between my camera and feeder. The timber guys, who we get along with very well, were thinning some plantation pines and offered to remove this tree for me. I would have had to move my tractor over there if they hadn’t taken care of it.
