Swat what a great buck. Just wondering if you have seen any of those genes showing up in other bucks.
To pass him and video him and then harvest him instead of drilling the doe makes in even sweeter. Congrats Man.
My two labs and I need to come shed hunt - last year was not a good time to travel.
Merry Christmas Swat.
love the story! And when a story like that has an ending like that we all rejoice!
He's a great buck - doesn't look like he rubbed trees a lot - do you think he was a bit submissive? Congratulations man!
He was dominant and his rack tells me he should be the stud that will not tolerate any competition. Have you seen his antler genes show up in other bucks on the farm. Of course it is likely he runs them off before they get the age for those characteristics to show up.
I killed a KY buck one season with a 3 inch hook off one eye guard - we saw that on one other buck next season. That buck's range was about 25% on the lease and 75% off the lease.
You killed a great buck for sure. Congrats!!!
