I'm the old "shmoopy" from QDMA forums. Got started on the Tapatalk forum and liked that but somehow got locked out.

Happy to see some familiar topics under discussion here. Hope this forum remains active.

QDMA was foolish for killing the forums. Lost me as a member.

Glad you are here Chummer. Your habitat accomplishments are tremendous, and your enthusiastic exuberance for learning and getting stuff done is contagious. Can't wait to see the first apples on the HILL.

Scrim stopped posting at the QDMA forum way before it shut down. I PMed him about something and he never responded, and when I checked his recent activity I found that he had been MIA for months. Hope he's ok.

He was hatching a kid about the time he dropped off over there if I remember right. He always had good projects going.
 
I reached out to many of the tree guys I knew from the old site. I worked my list of Chinese Chestnuts orders.

NorthPotterCo is the last guy I have tried to reach. He is from PA and like "Grapevine" he is a wise man on the American Chestnut.

If anyone knows how to get in touch with him, please contact him and invite him to this site or give me his contact info and I will contact him.

I learned a great deal of valuable knowledge from Grapevine and NorthPotterCo. Valuable knowledge is what I need. :)

I was DeltaDog there... or maybe DeltaDawg? Just found y'all myself... So glad to "see" all of my old friends again... I moved out to Houston, TX in 2012, and found myself 8 or 9 hours away from my hunting land... So sort of quit all the habitat work, AND hunting... :(
Moved last year to Cleveland, AL, and am still 6 hours away from my hunting, but can see my way to get back into the work some... AND the hunting! But, while I was gone, the QDMA closed its forum... :( and my membership expired, so I quit getting the magazines...magazines had some good articles that I always enjoyed, but were kind of "ad-rich...")

Anyway... I'm really glad to see everyone here... ESPECIALLY the "experts" I recognize!
 
i still got the same name... been a while since I had visited the old forum.. wish I had of known it was closing, i would have pulled the info off there that I had posted for my plot..
 
Sorry I missed this, but most of you know I've been here. I was Stickbowcrafter over on the old forum.
 
I also was a member on the QDMA forum. I didn't post much but read and learned a lot . I recently found this forum and so far I really enjoy it.

I recognize a lot of names from the other forum here.

I was also on the old forum as chipdasqrrl. I had quit using the QDMA forum for a while and apparently that’s when they decided to remove it. I couldn’t believe they would do such a thing, so I kept checking back to see if the forum was back up yet.
Eventually found where all of the old forum members went through a google search, might’ve even been this thread that showed up. I was very glad to find this and catch up with some of the old property tour threads.

pinetag on the old and the new. like chipdasqrrl ^^^ i hadn't been on QDMA for a while and it was shut down sometime while i was gone. i've been on the new site for a bit but just now saw this thread.
