I was shocked and saddened to see the QDMA site gone! We had soooo many knowledgeable posts by people with a priceless cache of knowledge. The QDMA site was my Go To source for anything Food Plot related. I am sad to see it go.

But we must go on. So, I am very happy to have found there is a Food Plot/Deer Management Forum on this new site WITH lots of familiar names. This is my 6th year straight of planting (1 acre ) and I owe my success to the knowledge passed on by members of the old site. I hope we all can continue to pass on this tradition here at the new site.

I see lots of old names from the old QDMA forum here, names I haven't seen or heard in many years. I never knew where a lot of you guys went. My food plotting and tree growing took a serious nose dive in the 2011 drought, and I am just now starting to get back into it. Look forward to some new discussions!

I exchanged some emails with Lindsay Thomas about the forum debacle....there was no way anybody was changing his mind. Without it I wouldn't have found Paul Knox, so for that reason alone I can't deny it was an immense help.

Geo in Co, WV still beautiful, Brushpile's knowledge is endless, dogs dying make me cry, tracking dogs are awesome, my plots are good, my trees are growing, hoping for my first apples this year, life is good.
