Funky backyard buck

So i feed deer in my back yard in the winter to try to get sheds. Never seen this 5x7 before, he just appeared out of nowhere on dec 19th and started coming over every day to eat. He walked across the road to the creek on dec 24th, still packing both sides, came back the next day with no antlers. Guess ill have to ask the neighbors if i can poke around in the creek bottom once the snow melts off.

I'd try to get him through a couple more seasons and you might have yourself a big boy to hunt. He looks young to me but I don't know the herd in your area.

This is probably blasphemy on this site, but i have no intentions of hunting my own property. Been there done that. Id rather just enjoy my wildlife at home and go hunt public land.

That is great to have the ability to do that. To be honest I rarely hunted my own farm but did let my kids hunt it. When you get to know your critters by name on your own property it is nice to sit back and watch how their life progresses.
