Foodplotting In The Mountains...The Sequel

I'm with you on loving peace and quiet, but I'm not going to fight change, rather, I'm going to ride those trails and check it out for myself. I don't expect them to stay open permanently, there's going to be too much damage, and too much opposition, so i want to take a look before they close.
There's a fixed number of 5.77 billion acres of habitable land on Earth and 8.2 billion people, so there's only 2 acres per person, and the population is still exploding, so there's going to be a lot of squabbles and differing opinions on land use in the future, the smartest thing a peace and quiet loving person can do is buy their own land quick before it's al gone.
There's no stopping change, and zoning laws are a joke here in Pa. I've spent most of my life in the woods, swamps, & meadows, so I've had my share of peace & quiet, I guess. I feel sorry for the younger generations who won't have those same chances. Open up, "develop", and pave over in a race for control. I've read most of what Ned Smith wrote in his books and articles, (I have 2 copies of his Gone For the Day books) and I remember he called those developing folks "the spoilers." Seems we just can't let nature be itself.

Well I’ve rode dirt bikes thru the wood for years since I was a small kid so the noise issue or access doesn’t concern me But it is crazy the people that now go mudding. Alcohol and / or weed tend to make people a little crazy. Used to be a unique thing. Guess everyone wants be like me??!!
