Hard to say without a soil sample that shows the sulfur levels. I'll say a lot of us never test that, nor amend with gypsum, and things go just fine.

You know, I thought about that too. I don’t see how I could grow any better crops, the deer stay in them, even the damn hogs are in my wheat plots every night. I thought about maybe just putting out a 100 lb. to the acre and see if anything changes for the better. It’s not but $8 a bag so it can’t hurt.

Put your 100 lbs on a half an acre, and mark the line so you can watch for browse and growth differences.
