Been doing some coon catching before turkey nesting season. I am using dog proof traps. My question is are these bear proof aka cub proof.

I'm in bear country but got to thinking could a cub their hand caught down in there and they wow i don't know how you would get it out as sure momma would stick around

Our trapping season ends well before that’s a potential problem but I’d say it’s unlikely but not impossible. I caught a house cat last year which I thought was highly unlikely but it somehow managed to get ahold of the trigger.

If a dog can't get it's paw in a dogproof, how do you think a bear could possibly get caught in one? ...lol

Cats are common in dogproofs if you are using fish bait and cats are in the area. I never caught a cat on marsh mallows lured with plumb loco.
