Daughters first buck

Emma is 14 and tagged her first buck yesterday morning....8 pointer, 165 lbs live weight. Not the biggest, but certainly a memorable hunt for me... Up at 6am, done by 8....talk about efficient!

I can attest to how good the two of you feel, because I was 14 when I shot my first buck. My dad and I still relive the story quite frequently. Congratulations to you both.

She certainly likes to show off to the boys about her deer hunting..... my little Tom-boy!

I've known a few little Tom boys that love to show pictures of their deer off, especially to the boys who had not tagged out yet.
I do know it motivated my 15 yr old boy to get in the woods!

She has a competitive side.... she doesn't see any reason why a boy should be better than her at anything. We fear she will take over the world if given the chance!
