Leaf shape, acorn size, and the existence of peduncle suggest the Concordia oaks MP and LEG have are heavily weighted toward the swamp white oak genetics in these trees. Nevertheless, as a 3-way hybrid with fast growth tendencies, they are a great addition to their habitat efforts. I contacted a auto repair garage owner - in Concordia Mo - named Jan Petersen many years ago (he had started several CO's on his property) and paid him to send me acorns. He did; however, not one germinated ... I suspected he let them get too dry or picked up ones that had been on the ground too long. You might contact him (assuming he is still around) and see if he can furnish acorns for you. Chris Petersen at Jon's Body Shop is listed as contact person; perhaps Mr. Petersen retired. Phone for shop iis 660-463-7600. Good luck!
