I did some mowing of some of my clover fields the other day.

Looks like the Roundup killed everything good. This plot will be my first attempt at a throw and mow using Real World Deadly Dozen.

I came up with this idea this morning while putting up some utilization cages. I haven't seen this done before, but thought it worked pretty slick.

I'm glad I don't have to worry about that at my place. One of the benefits of living on the property that you hunt on.Plus, this field is way out in the middle of our property and not visible from any roads.

Of course, it wasn't like this when we bought the place in '93. It was around ten years of patrolling and having people kicked off before we didn't have to worry about trespassers anymore. I finally just started having people arrested and not just telling them to get off the property and not to come back. Must be the word got out and people started to stay away.

I've been getting a bunch of pictures of this double split brow tine buck for a few weeks now. At first I didn't think he was that good, but the more I see him the more I think he's better than I originally thought.

I've been using Google Photos now to post on forums, and I've had some people tell me that the photos aren't showing up. They are all showing up for me and I've tried everything to try and make them not show up for me, but can't.

I've attached the two photos that weren't showing up for others. This time I used the app to upload the photos directly from my phone so they should show now.

I got a free day today to do some things around my place finally. It's been tough with a 1 year old running around the house.

This field I got all planted in the LC cereal grain mix.

This was one of my LC mix's from last year that I'm transitioning into brassicas this year. I got it mostly all disced up pretty good.

I got a few hours of seat time on the old John Deere 2510 today. A beautiful day today.

My LC mix that I planted last Sunday is coming along nicely. We got some hard rain this week and the peas and the oats are already popping up.

I got two small plots of this planted this morning.

This is the first field I did that has my favorite set next to it. It's my favorite because I can get in and out without spooking any deer.

Next I planted this plot which I just got fertilized and limed last night before we got heavy rains. I can't wait to see how this Deadly Dozen turns out.
