Going to be putting in some apple trees in, is it wise to to use both tubes and a cage around them. Please correct if I am wrong on this the tube is to make the tree grow up and the cage would protection against animals.

Anyone having much luck with morning hunts? I am going out this weekend and going to hunt both mornings. Mainly because the MIL is staying at my house. This October is going down as one of the hottest for Kansas. It has been about 10 degrees hotter then normal and I am sick of it.

Yeah I kinda have some oddballs this year. Nothing wrong with a perfect 8 or 10 point , But I'm hoping I can close the deal on one of those with a bit more character. Just something different.

I went out from 5:00 to 8:30. I had six does come in ranging from 15 to 30 yards. They all looked good and healthy. Hopefully they start bring their boyfriends soon.
