Who's planted Bi Color lespedeza

gonna plant a couple acres this year. Any tips ?

Seed or plugs?
Planting method
Growth rate?
Maintenance?

Not looking for reasons why I should not plant. Ive discussed them with many on here as well as some locals .

The property I've been on with decent areas of this planted are loaded with small game deer and turkeys. I've wanted to plant for a few years and haven't . It's happening this year.

Arborgen sells bare root 50$/1000 seedlings

I planted 1000 by dibble in my sandy soils in 3/14

Poor results They came alive with spring rains and then disappeared

Unclear what got them. Deer?

I seen them @ Arborgen also but didn't know if that was the best way to plant or not. I would rather seed it in .
