i had one waterhole that wouldn't hold water

Aquatic Biologist out of Fon Du Lac sold me a liner and pad for about $150.

Worked great. Deer used it immediately. We'll see how this holds up over time

When I was landscaping we always used a pad under the liner to avoid leaks. A little protection from pointy things in the ground as things settle.

Looks like it's working just fine Bull. While we have to put up with skeeters, snakes, hot n humid weather down south, one thing we don't have to do is worry about water hole liners. Red clay solves that problem.

These waterholes have become such an awesome addition to my property. Without being allowed to use minerals they are a great spot to inventory the deer and a great spot for an evening sit.
