It's been a crazy busy yr for me, working 7 days a week since April I have not been to camp at all. Finally got a day Sunday to run up and cut the grass. This is what's left of my once beautiful clover field
Needless to say the grass was out of control
After a long day of cutting I said dang it I need to plant something even though I expect total failure. I did a quick till, not easy with all that grass, and spread tall tine tubers.
No time to prepare seed bed , just till and seed and head home......dont care if it works but needed to do it lol

Just can't find time anymore to get up there, and yes I GPS every cam now smart guyI have been wondering if you have been up and getting any seed into mother earth. Remember the entire mountain relies on your efforts to keep the does around so the big bucks come calling. Do not let us down.
PS try not to forget where you place your cameras this year.

Computer crash lost your email. Just thought I would show you the slim pickings on the mountain this year. We are seeing a high 6, there was a small 6 and a 4 but they vanished a couple of weeks ago.
Doe population is way down from last year despite only one doe being taken on our side last year. I saw over 20 does at one time at my place just before green up in the spring. What happened to the herd has everyone on our side baffled.

I finally had a weekend free to get up to camp and plant. I sprayed with roundup in June but never made it up to do anything. Not ideal but I got everything turned over and got in clover top dressed with turnips....we'll see....I'm looking to put in 10 apple trees in spring
