Summer plots question.....

On Sunday I'm planting summer plots. It's a combination of soybeans, peas, sunflower seeds and buckwheat. I'm going to be broadcasting and then lightly disking them in. My question is should I cultipack them also?

Thanks

Thank you. I was just checking to make sure this is my first summer putting in food plots

I try to run tractor tires or 4 wheeler over planting. Best germination is in tire tracks!

Wish I had a cultipacker, and if I did, I would be cultipacking after covering the seeds.

Yep, don't plant too deep, and use the packer. I even use mine over throw and mow plots where no tillage was done. More soil contact, better the germination chances. Good luck.
